As a new employee, I would like to welcome you to my work world B.P Eye Foundation where healthcare transcends conventional boundaries and embraces a holistic approach to global well-being. In our pursuit of excellence in global health initiatives, we go beyond the ordinary, offering a comprehensive spectrum of clinical services that cover the intricate realms of eye care, ear, nose, and throat (ENT) care, and dental care. Buckle up for a fascinating ride as we navigate through the dynamic landscape of health, from prevention to groundbreaking discoveries.
At the heart of our mission is a commitment to providing equitable healthcare services. We break down barriers by conducting screenings both on-site and remotely, reaching out to communities in need, and setting up outreach clinics in fixed locations. Our collaborative spirit shines through as we join forces with over 15 governmental, non-governmental, and international organizations. Together, we’ve honed our expertise in the core fields of eye, ENT, and dental health, extending our impact far beyond individual communities to tackle national and international health challenges head-on.
But our journey doesn’t stop at clinical excellence. We are explorers of the unknown, venturing into uncharted territories of research. Picture this: we were the pioneers in identifying seasonal hyper-acute pan uveitis (SHAPU), an enigmatic eye condition caused by moths. Our researchers are trailblazers, diving into projects related to artificial intelligence and non-communicable diseases, pushing the boundaries of knowledge to reshape the future of global health.
Step into our academic and research department, where minds converge to unravel the mysteries of current global health issues. Witness our commitment to education as we proudly introduce the first-of-its-kind 3-month training program for community ear health workers in Nepal, empowering individuals to make a difference in their communities.
And for our littlest global citizens, we offer infant hearing screening services, ensuring that the journey to a healthy life begins right from the start. But it doesn’t end there; our wellness center opens its doors to those aged 40 and above, providing free health checks for blood pressure, random blood sugar, intraocular pressure, height, and weight. Because we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a healthy and fulfilling life.
